Q?

Do you photograph anything else besides weddings?

A.

We specialize in weddings but we also love to photograph portraits and events. Feel free to contact us and tell us what you have in mind!

Q?

Where are you based?

A.

We are based in the mile high city of Denver Colorado. But we are often traveling all over for weddings. Wherever you are, we would love to meet you!

Q?

Do you travel?

A.

Yes. Whether you are across the oceans or the states, we are available for worldwide travel and our bags are always packed.

Q?

Do you offer wedding photography albums?

A.

Yes I do. I work with an amazing company based in the US that specializes in high end, hand bound custom albums. We work together throughout the wedding album design process to insure your final album is of the highest quality. We believe in having a printed product from your wedding.

Q?

Do we need a shot list?

A.

Together we have photographed numerous weddings and we are very keen to every little detail of your wedding day. We will capture all the important moments and details, from your wedding dress to the table linens, from your groom’s reaction when he sees you for the first time, the gentle kiss when your father gives you away to the group of friends from your college days. Your complete wedding day coverage is in good hands. We will ask for a list of family group shots but that’s it!

Q?

Do you shoot outdoor weddings?

A.

Yes we do & we love outdoor weddings! We believe your wedding reflects who you are more than just an event – it is an expression of your lifestyle. Some couples plan indoor ceremonies and most receptions end up indoors to some extent. No matter where you get married, you can be confident that nothing makes us happier than helping you document your wedding in a way that feels authentic to you both.

Q?

Do you do “posed” shots, like family group photos?

A.

Absolutely. Sometimes your family has traveled far to be there and you haven’t all been together in a while! So these photos are just as important as anything else. With group photos, we work fast and efficient; to make sure you and your family aren’t missing from your reception for too long. We make sure we have adequate time either before or after the ceremony to take whatever group and formal shots you need.

Q?

Will we meet you before the wedding?

A.

Absolutely! We’re always happy to make ourselves available to meet over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine!

Q?

How far in advance should I book my wedding photography?

A.

While it can vary depending on the couple, I typically get inquiries for wedding photography about a year or more from the scheduled date.

Q?

When should I send my save the date cards?

A.

According to the most popular etiquette sites, six months is plenty of time to send your save the date card for a domestic wedding. If you are asking a lot of people to travel to the wedding location, especially for a destination wedding out of the country, eight months is recommended.

Q?

When do we get our proofs and/or photos back from the wedding?

A.

Your photos will be available for viewing no later than 6 weeks after your wedding date. Most of the time I am well in advance of that timeframe but I can get a bit backlogged in the busy seasons.

Q?

How can my friends and family see the wedding, bridal or engagement photography?

A.

As part of my service, I post images onto a Wedding Photography Gallery for your review. Your friends & family can view these photos with a password (provided to you) as well as place an order if they like.

Q?

What forms of payment do you accept?

A.

We accept cash, check and money orders. Products and albums can be purchased by credit card.

Q?

I love your work! How do I book you for my wedding photography?

A.

To book your wedding day, I require both a signed contract and a deposit to hold the day.

Q?

My venue requires photographers to have proof of insurance, do you have any?

A.

Actually this is a great question! Wedding photography can be very unforgiving as it’s a one-time event. We have a nice policy and we can certainly provide proof of insurance if your venue requires it.

Q?

Do you photograph in both black and white and color?

A.

Yes, I take all my shots in color then convert to black and white after the wedding day. This gives me full control on the processing decisions and how best to bring out the “feel” in each shot. I use a customized B&W conversion process which gives my B&W photographs a very unique look and feel.
